A voice, a vision, a dream: this is how Cristallina® Design was born
Cristallina® Design is a Swiss brand born from a female voice, but above all from a precise vision: that design should not only amaze, but also reassure, tell, touch… and make you dream.
I am Natascia Finocchiaro Maurino, CEO and founder of this project that combines aesthetic sensitivity, cultural depth and material rigor, with a strong identity and a kind heart. I have always believed that beauty is not just appearance, but a way to transform space and the way we perceive ourselves.
The value of Cristallina marble: a noble material that speaks
At the base of everything is Cristallina marble, extracted from a single active quarry in Switzerland, in Peccia. It is a rare, luminous stone, with over a century of history, which we have chosen to tell in a new way.
To do this, we have created a unique collaboration with young designers from ECAL, one of the most prestigious design schools in Europe. Together, we have created objects that combine art and functionality, where every shape is the child of an emotion.
Feminine, Swiss, contemporary design
Cristallina Design is also an all-female team. We believe in a design that listens, welcomes and transforms. Our strength lies in the details, in the care and in the deep respect for the material.
Our objects do not shout, but speak. They are designed to be loved, lived, passed down. An authentic, discreet luxury that makes itself felt over time.
Form as an expression of content
For me, design is language. Form is never an end in itself: it is the most authentic expression of content. A beautiful object is not only decorative: it vibrates, it gives something back to those who look at it, touch it, live it.
Surrounding yourself with beauty means nourishing your senses, living better, feeling better. Because the space we live in tells us and shapes us. And it is precisely there, in the relationship between inside and outside, that design finds its most poetic function.
From idea to project: a dream that becomes reality
Cristallina Design was born from a personal desire. During a period in which I painted a lot, I imagined shapes and objects in marble. It was just an idea. But when I started working in the family business, active in the construction sector for over 130 years, I really got to know Cristallina marble.
I fell in love with its extraordinary beauty and felt that it deserved to be the protagonist of a unique design line: a fusion of art and design, made of useful, beautiful, poetic objects, entirely made of Cristallina® marble.
Collaboration with ECAL: young talents, stories to tell
The desire to collaborate with a school came naturally. We contacted ECAL, and they responded with enthusiasm. From there, a genuine, enriching collaboration was born, which continues to this day.
We are proud to carry on this project, because the guys we met are true talents. Every collection they have created is extraordinary, vibrant with meaning, and challenges us as a team, pushing us to tell, enhance, make known every piece, every story.
Objects with a soul
In Cristallina Design, every object has a soul. Every collection tells something: it speaks of the material, of the gesture, of the vision of the person who created it. They are objects to live, to preserve, to love.
Cristallina Design is a new project, but with deep roots. It is a bridge between past and future, between craftsmanship and innovation, between Switzerland and the world.
