Murilo Weitz

Murilo Weitz was born in Leme, a city in the interior of the state of São Paulo, in 1989.

He graduated from Mackenzie University with a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning in 2012.

Between 2013 and 2014, she lived in London, England, where she studied Creative Design and Fashion at the University of the Arts London (UAL). It was there that she discovered her passion for creating on different scales.

In 2015 he founded the brand MURILO WEITZ.

In 2024 he attended ECAL – École cantonale d'art de Lausanne, where he developed the S.cale collection and the Fruit Bowl product, exploring the relationship between design, material and different project scales.

S.cale

In the world of design, the concept of scale often defines the parameters of our creations. With S.cale, however, we transcend these limitations, seeking to bridge the gap between micro and macro, between the tangible and the urban.

At its core, S.cale is a testament to versatility and harmonious design. It embodies the fusion of two distinct scales: the intimate realm of domestic objects and the broader landscape of urban infrastructure. Our vision takes shape through two meticulously crafted products: a marble fruit bowl and its counterpart, a bench.

Though different in scale, these creations share a common DNA: their form and refined details are harmoniously reflected across the different dimensions. Both products embody refined aesthetics and functional excellence, united by an intrinsic elegance.
